To guarantee the continuous supply of coffee to the international markets, a consistent export quality, the fullfilment of the shipments and based on what is established in the 1714 decree of the Commerce, Industry and Tourism Ministry, and the National Coffee Committee's 01 resolution of 2009, natural or legal persons that want to export green,  or processed coffee, should register as Coffee Exporters in the National Coffee Exporters Registry that is managed by the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation.

The requirements can be found in the National Coffee Committee's 01 resolution of 2009. Through this resolution the rules for inscription and for control and administration are adopted bythe National Coffee Exporters Registry of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation in its condition of administrator of the National Coffee Fund. .
