As a recognition of their work and commitment to quality, coffee growers from Caldas, Antioquia, Cauca and Tolima were the big winners of the 4th national coffee quality competition “Colombia, Land of Diversity,” organized by the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC).

“This competition is more relevant at this time, since it generates more income for coffee growers and highlights the call that the institution has made to all the market players to recognize the work and quality of Colombian coffee,” Juan Camilo Ramos, the FNC Chief Commercial Officer, said.

The 23 best coffee lots of this contest will participate on April 13 in an exciting live auction before international bidders, to be held within the framework of the US Specialty Coffee Expo (SCA), the world’s most important fair of its kind, which this year will take place in Boston, Massachusetts, from April 11 to 14.

Before the auction, 3 cupping sessions will be held for international customers to have the chance to taste the diversity of profiles produced in Colombia.
